ENGAGEMENTS

Psychologist Coach

When you are looking for professional help, you are likely wanting to make some changes and go further faster than the distance your usual DIY efforts take you.

Then comes the question of what type of professional is best for what you are wanting to accomplish. Counselor? Coach? Psychologist?

Is counseling too touchy-feely? Is coaching not deep enough?

Working with a psychologist coach means that you are working with a professional that blends the best of both disciplines and it is that blend that takes you further faster.

This blend allows you to identify underlying issues and pivotal life experiences that interfere with your growth and fulfillment. As perspective and emotional cohesion increase, you can capitalize on a collaborative relationship that supports your personal strengths to create and meet goals, all while having an organized, safe, confidential place to address what is meaningful to you.

Additional benefits of using a psychologist coach:

  • advanced education

  • experience identifying emotional and relational issues

  • training in detecting and treating relevant experiences such as anxiety, depression and burnout

  • ability to blend elements of psychotherapy with personal goals and strengths

Coaching vs Therapy.png

Leadership and Executive Coaching centers on deepening self-awareness and self-enlightenment that will support you in being experienced by self and others as a confident and fully present human being as well as building deeper competency and skill that leads to enhancing your ability to coordinate action with others for the sake of connecting, leading and producing meaningful results that you aspire to in your life (personal and/or professional); defined goals will be determined and set together. Psychotherapy is a process that focuses on healing from personal life experiences. There are a number of concepts and theories that overlap in the world of coaching and therapeutic work. Your coaching agreement includes that a suggestion and/or referral for therapy will be made when necessary. Please keep in mind that you are agreeing to work with a licensed psychologist, whose background, training and licensure allows for addressing personal relationships, personality, and other elements of human functioning that relate to your successful experience in coaching.

Engagements

A contractual schedule powerful experience, involving the development of new possibilities, new levels of achievement and personal growth. Contractual work focuses on one or two main topics and develops a relationship of mutual trust and respect. Fundamental to a successful contractual experience is fast-paced work that blends personal depth and accomplishment. Our focus relies on a process of exploring new ways to view situations, individuals, possibilities, and in developing new approaches, plans, strategies and actions. This innovation involves learning and goes beyond goal setting. At times, the learning may be challenging. Contractual work involves new discoveries about the way an individual's own actions play a part in situations the individual wishes to change.

This type of self-discovery may be uncomfortable and might feel like drinking out of a firehose regarding change. Might.

It might also take you to points you need to go.
